Join us for a hike that combines stunning scenery with a moderate challenge. We're exploring the Baker Beach Coast & Batteries to Bluffs Trails, making a 6.5-mile loop with unparalleled views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the rugged Marin Headlands. This trail, taking approximately 2 hours, offers a delightful blend of gentle inclines and scenic bluffs, making it accessible for most hikers. We'll begin at Batteries to Bluffs, where you can delve into the history of the East and West Gun Batteries.
We'll meet at 8:30 AM at Jack London Ferry station, then ride the GoPresidio bus to the trailhead for a 10:00 AM start. Enjoy a provided lunch, learn valuable photography techniques, and capture the beauty of the coast.
Don't forget your camera, water, & comfortable shoes – the photo opportunities are endless! Leashed dogs are welcome to join. We'll return to the meetup spot by 4:00 PM. (or earlier)
